You are right. Main stream press has problems with the living. Might be one of the reasons they just don't get the importance of formal ceremony, and proper tribute for those who served our country when they pass. President Reagan proudly served our country. The media is more than confused by the people's response. From what I've seen, main stream press has been in some ways politically rude, and blatantly ignorant. But that's just my opinion.

I just wanted to stop by and say thank you to all of veterans for protecting my family's freedom.
Last night I went to a memorial service for President Reagan and I met a whole bunch of Vets. I was so moved by the fact that the folks who have already given so much to this country, are the same who continue to give.. and to support America.
It seems everyday I learn something about the patriotism and dedication of our military. About the steadfast resolve and integrity of people, who much more noble than myself.
I feel guilty that I have taken it for granted in the past. I am trying to make up for that now.
God bless all those who have served... and from the bottom of my heart: Thank you, I will never forget, or let my children forget.
LISTEN TO THE IRISH TENNORS- GOD BLESS AMERICA

So this would be the same law if updated for Kerry?

Our troops did an outstanding job. What pride I felt as I watched the services, they all looked and performed beautifully!

I've seen them complain about "over exposure", a plot to "build" Reagans legacy and them concentrating on the "bad" things in the Reagan Administration. Makes me sick.
