It probably still runs. Change a tire or two.

I actually voted against throwing my medals away, before I threw my medals away, before I said I threw somebody else's medals away, before I said I threw my ribbons away . . . . And how dare you impugn my patriotism! Why, I ought to have my manservant give a good thrashing right here!

Interesting thread, guys. I always wondered how Tarleton came to be so universally despised. I don't care what the historians may say, I'll take the Continental side of the story. He should have gotten Tarleton's Quarter!

That's where selective starchig came in.
(It is possible to do.)
You starch sections and then iron them so that you have flex areas and then basically starch armor plating in others.
Time consuming and difficult to do, but worth it once you get the hang of it.
Of course, by the time I was inuniform, starch was not authorised for use on the BDU's, but they didn't complain about it either.

Do the Poles really think that by not joining the EU they would fall under Soviet domination again?

Selective starching? Our laundry never heard of it, I think they just threw our fatigues into a vat of starch.

Unless it was to get back at a certain parish priest by making his white collar an inescapable neck trap...

LOL. Actually, I'll give her that excuse too.

I'll bet even he wouldn't have requested that!

I remember in Basic that my fatigue pants could stand up by themselves.

You sure it was from the starch?
