Hey! I have one of those mugs! (But I drink coffee in mine! I see that tea bag!) Speaking of coffee... time for a refill... then I'll be back to give y'all some trivia related to today's thread.
Hi Sam! Hi Snippy!

Morning EOD.
On interesting fact not well known that was pointed out to me by a P61 pilot was the fact that it is the only AAF aircraft that the pilot sat well out in front of the propellers
That could make for a hairu experience. That training video is pretty cool. Nice to see it flying. Love the sound of the prop jobs.

At the moment, mine is half-full of coffee, and rather darker in appearance overall.
In engineer terms, it's neither half-full, nor half-empty. It's twice as large as it needs to be!. Hmm must refill to fix that.

A P-61 Black Widow (of the 422nd Night Fighter Squadron) named the "Lady Gen" makes a kill of a German ME-410 in the nightime skies over Belgium in 1944. This crew went on to become one of three ace crews in the 422nd, and the Black Widow went on to become America's premier night fighter of WWII.
