Morning Eastbound. I agree time to get serious and use soldiers as soldiers, not cops or "peacekeepers".

Sam:

Don't apologize. I think this is the best thread yet.

Hope you're having a good day!

Good morning, my friend :)

How are you today? Four inches of snow on Monday night had me in a bad mood but now it is merely cold and damp. Much better. I think.

Thank you Snippy.

I've been "Blessed" by having parents who lived through the war and experienced it from opposite sides. Both of them often letting us know what "it was like" for them and their families.

Good Morning Snopercod.

Individually none are too long by themselves, but I got carried away in the number of stories.

Louisianna Ping.

Did we have our entire BB Fleet at Vera Cruz? It seems every BB of the period was there.

1998 Sen. John Glenn, D-Ohio, who in 1962 became the first U.S. astronaut to orbit the Earth,, roared back into space aboard the shuttle Discovery, retracing the trail he'd blazed for America's astronauts 36 years earlier. At 77, he was the oldest person to travel in space.(payback for saving willards ass)

LOL! Your added comment was the first thought that came to my mind when I read this one.
