I don’t want Mitt for SoS either. Newt was on earlier and said he thought there were others that were more qualified and I agree - plus, some of the others that have been mentioned, such as Rudy and Bolton, weren’t backstabbers or tried to derail Trump’s campaign and win.
Mitt should have a big L for loser on his forehead.

Mitt disqualified himself by running harder against Donald than any of the declared candidates. He did his level best to rally together an actual ‘dump Trump’ movement, even while Trump was surging to victory in the primary.
It was petulant, and destructive to the goal of uniting Republican voters around the one candidate who stood the best chance of defeating Hillary.
Mitt has never had a bond with, or an understanding of the common people, and his antics during the primary proved that in spades. His political instincts and sense of the true state of the nation are also severely impaired, making him a very poor prospect for any cabinet position.
