I was at first disappointed when I heard that Haley was appointed to the UN position, but in reading comments on the thread below, it may be not as bad as I thought. General consensus is that it is not that important of a post and just carrying out policy that others make. In addition, the Lt Gov would become Gov and he is a good guy and big Trump supporter.
One person mentioned that Lindsey might want to run for Gov. I cracked up at RushIsMyTeddyBear’s comment:
“My elderly mom called Graham “McCain’s fart sniffer” this afternoon. I about fell off of the sofa.”

Hubby and I got a chance to take in a movie yesterday, “Hacksaw Ridge”.
Mel Gibson out did himself, sure beat “Saving Private Ryan”.
A little synopsis: WWII Am. army medic Desmond Doss, who served during the Battle of Okinawa, refuses to kill people and becomes the 1st Conscientious Objector in Am. history to win the Congressional Medal of Honor.
It is gory and not for the squeamish but an inspiring true story.
She’s a mess and I adore her. We talk politics every day. She always wants me to fill her in on what I’ve read and the same with her. She’s still sharp as a tack and used to be a Rebublican activist years ago. She was also an original “Bircher” (oh, the horrors). ;)
