Ron Paul has a record that not only reflects conservative principles but he will be able to pick up most of the important independent vote in November.

RuPaul is a nutcase, and advocating for him here will get you the ban hammer. Zot.

Yes, because thinking that America is to blame for 9/11 is a true conservative value.
Ron Paul is right on 75% of the issues. On the other 25%, he's nucking futs.

Ron Paul, aka Dr nutz, is not a conservative. He is a nut case who has two or three positions that happen to coincide with what are broadly considered conservative principles.

Endorsing Cynthia McKinney for President blows away the conservative claim.
Did you support her, or have faith in his decision?

Ron Paul is a Constitutionalist, so I guess that makes him a nut to many on FR.

Ron Paul is a fool. He gets his conservative record because he never votes for anything. That’s not conservative. That’s just stubborn. He has no record of legislation, and he’s been in office for more than 30 years. I worked on his first campaign as a “hostess” — a stop for refreshments when he walked my neighborhood with my husband to introduce him to the neighbors.
I think Paul “lost it” when he ran on the Libertarian ticket. I no longer find him amusing.

No. Paul did not “blame America”. All he did was point out what the CIA calls “blowback”. I can not understand why this same slanderous talking point keeps being made against Paul. Do you really want the other progressives ending up with the Republican nomination.

Not according to his voting record.

Now, back to that Cynthia McKinney support. Is she a Constitutionalist too?

Which is MUCH closer to conservatism than the progressive values of the other candidates. Libertarianism is in fact what Conservatism used to be until it was hijacked by pro war Leftists back in the Vietnam era. So let’s try to remember that Ron Paul is an old school conservative who has been fighting for the cause since before most of us were born. Also remember that he will be able to pick up a lot more independent voters than any other candidate in November.

No. Paul did not blame America. All he did was point out what the CIA calls blowback. I can not understand why this same slanderous talking point keeps being made against Paul. Because it's true.
And Dr. Paul associates with and welcomes the support of truthers.
