That didn't stop Reagan from slamming Ford in '76. It is what made him competitive in that race. The 11th commandment is from Reagans '66 Gov run when the party was split apart after Goldwater. Reagan wasn't bashful in going after Ford in '76 and Bush in '80. If we were to go by this today, all of FR would have to keep their mouth shut about Mittens and his terrible record. I'll pass. AMEN. Enough of the stupid, nonexistent "11th Commandment". It is a Republican fantasy, used mainly by RINOs to defend their pathetic losers, like McCain and Romney. A real conservative can defend themselves, and won't hide behind something that Reagan himself did not abide.

Righto. If someone should complain about the ‘11th”, it could be Paul, but he gives and receives. ‘Tis the season to be unmerry’ when it comes to getting the nomination.

I think a lot of our younger viewers are not aware of some of the heated fights Reagan and Ford had and Bush and Reagan had. The term Voodoo Economics wasn’t from the Rats that year. It was from George Bush in a heated exchange with Reagan on his economic policies.
