To Reject nihilism and Revive Liberty, Conservatives must lead the charge.
How will we regain our lost liberty and our prosperity? How can we claw our way out of the depths of nihilism back up to our perch in the “Shining City on the hill?”
All Americans must reject the something-for-nothing vision of Hope and Change. We must come to terms with ourselves and recognize that a people cannot live free, if they constantly prey on each other. Similarly, we cannot live free, if we lose our will to live free, and sit idly while organized groups of nihilists overwhelm us with lies broadcast by a clueless, immoral news media.(Continue below.)

People of faith, liberty and honor must reject the entire government service industry. Churches, civic groups, and ordinary people must provide a better alternative to need and suffering than the government offers.
We, the people of this great land must build a counter culture, counter to the notion that government is able to help people. We are equipped to help each other. Let us offer a choice to the needy, the desperate and the sick. Turn to neighbors for help and forsake government.
Government is the problem. People are the solution. We must develop ways of solving the great human problems of our age and shut down the government social service industry.
The government enslaves every person it seeks to help. Neighbors and community organizations offer freedom and hope. We must build a society in which the influence of government is reduced and the power of society is increased.
It’s funny, but what you suggest is the exact reverse of a comment I was told in 1966. It was after the Demo/nihilists swept Congress, and I had asked a jubilant Demo what the result would be. His reply: “Why, there’s no longer a need for charity. The Government will take care of everyone.”

Precisely. Except that the government does not give charity.
The government steals from those who have something and use the wealth to buy chattel. People who receive “help” from the government are eternally enslaved. Many end up in debt or prison. All are limited by rules and regulations from buying their way out of slavery. The Democrat party today is the slave plantation of the 18th century.
We must give people an alternative to government slavery.
