Gov. Sanford: repent, genuinely, and you may very well have my support again.

Before or after he’s taken the Argentina former journalist as wife?

Has The New York Times already endorsed him in the Republican primary?

It is incredible then that so many seem to care more about Sanford’s sin in Argentina than about the hundreds of remaining politicians putting every American into debt for decades to come.

BUMP!

All he has to do is become a Democrat.

By next month Sanford will replace McCain as the Dems favorite Republican.

Governor Sanford, resign, sit down, and shut the hell up.

And for the love of God don't go anywhere NEAR the Republican primaries.

I’m sick of low-character vermin in politics.

Instead of “betters”, we have hypocritical scum whose top priority is servicing the urges in their loins or gaining wealth at public expense.

To hell with Sanford. May he drop dead and rot.

Never.

I may forgive him as a person if he repents, but that will never mean that I would endorse him for President.

The affair is almost politically forgivable. The stupidity and irresponsibility of the cover-up is not.

Never.

I can’t. Bill Benett and some other wags have already written off Palin in the Party’s future for Willow, her daughter, having a child out of wedlock.

Mark Sanford has proven that he can be distracted on a whim from the importance of the office entrusted to him by leaving the country without notifying his staff, for starters. I don’t want anyone with that level of absent-mindedness and indiscretion holding the office of President if I can help it.

Nah...he's damaged goods! Sanford won't fly as a candidate in 2012. Sorry.... Next!!!!!

Give us one candidate with a little charisma but solid conservative with brains, heart, guts and knows how to convey the conservative message. Oh..that was Reagan!

Mark Sanford could very well be president of his local Lions’ Club in 2012. I wish him well.

I seriously doubt he could get elected dog catcher.......even if it included cleaning up in the local dog park each night.

“President Mark Sanford Is Still Possible in 2012”

President of what? The Lonely Hearts Club? The guy is on the leading edge of a breakdown. Anyone who watched that press conference could see that he’s an emotional basket case.

At the moment I’m not particularly optimistic that his marriage will survive. And if it doesn’t, no way is he a viable candidate for 2012.

Hope I’m wrong about the marriage.

And not that I agree with him or them for that, particularly. Palin may be imperfect but seems to be able tonmake the best out of the bad for acts not directly under her control. But Sanford proved that he's willing to throw a public trust out the window if he can gain some momentary gratification from it.

It depends on the family, but, you know, I am a screw up when it comes to relationships, and I know I suck at making decisions, so, is that related? (I am a good artist, though)
