Yep, commies and the hard Left hate him too.

If this is forbidden content because it is from a hard Left/commie site, please remove it. I thought it shows the diversity in those who hate Ron Paul, the same way there’s a lot of diversity in those who like him.
But dump it if it’s inappropriate for FR.

Commies and the hard Left hate him too. Clearly, he's a liberty threat to their statist ideology.

I could vote for Paul.
Besides, for all his anti-Iraq War rhetoric, by the time he’d actually BE in office (considering all of the progress going on due to the surge), everything would be over anyhow.

I have never considered him my savior, but he is someone I could support. Unlike Rudy McRomney.

Shhhh...we don't want anyone to know that the surge's success actually works for Ron Paul.
Mum's the word.

Why all the big concern on FR over the fringe candidates (Paul, Tancredo, Hunter, Kucinich, Biden, Dodd, Gravel)?
Seems like a lot of wasted bluster...

Well, it is strange. While insisting he can never ever get more than a few votes in any state, they post thread after thread to bash him. Some of these threads have gone 800 or even 1500 posts. And all for a candidate they say can never win dogcatcher?
They like to have it both ways, methinks.

This is what I have been trying to tell the FReepers who hate Ron Paul. If you want to derail him, go on the left wing blogs and praise him for being pro-life, pro-borders. 20% of his supporters will immediately bolt.
Than tell the other “kooks” how you love Ron Paul because he won’t give them largesse from the public treasury. Post his glowing NTU, CATO and CFG profiles. Another 60% will bolt.

Yeah.
I said before that if it weren’t Paul’s treacherous words like, “the Senate didn’t declare war on Iraq,” when clearly the Senate did declare war on Iraq, then I would have no problem with Paul.
Just because the wording of the “Joint Resolution to authorize military force in Iraq” wasn’t worded to Paul’s liking “DAAAAh, WE SENATORS DECLARE WAR!” doesn’t make it unconstitutional. Paul is too nutty.
This goes to prove how absolutely retarded the left is, the lazy bums didn’t spend 15 minutes to go online and look at Paul’s voting record. The left has had months to do that. Maybe they have a literacy problem over on the left. Its hillarious, it will be even more hillarious to watch Paul’s numbers go down as the leftist primary raiders re-register as Democrat.

Yep, commies and the hard Left hate him too.Actually, the article illustrates exactly what many of us here have suspected: that much of the support for Ron Paul is coming from the anti-war Left. I'm glad to see one of their fellow Leftists setting them straight with this article.
I know the FReepers and conservatives who support RP understand RP's whole platform. But the Leftists (and the white supremacists who are really Leftists in a different way) are clueless. They're supporting him on one issue while ignoring the rest of his platform.
They remind me of a few self-proclaimed "libertarians" I've known. After talking with them at length, I had to say, "You don't really understand what libertarian means. You're Democrats."
