Fanatic devotion to your personal opinion on a single hot button issue is does not qualify anyone to be President of the United States.

No, Ron Paul is a wacko because he has absolute NO clue what he is saying when he talks on Foreign Policy, The role of Govt in Society, the Federal Budget, his ideas on how a Constitutional Republic works, Monetary policy or virtually any other issue. That he is solid on Gun Rights does not change the facts of his complete unfitness for office based on his views on virtually any other issue.
A President is President of the WHOLE USA, not just the NRA.

Just wanting to abolish things, with utterly NO clue what he would do to replace the portion of their functions which is necessary, nor HOW he would get anything done in Congress, is the raving of a childish demented mind, not a rational serious adult.
A President is President of the WHOLE USA, not just the NRA.

One must look at the entire candidate. When he thinks 9/11 was an inside job and there never has been a war worth fighting, he can be for KABA all day long, but we wouldn’t have a country to have those rights in with this guy (wacko) as Prez.

I will give you just one example of the utter drivel that routinely runs out of Paul’s mouth that his acolytes tune out because of their mindless devotion to their single issue.
Paul made a speech a few weeks ago on Economics. He said “To fund our empire and our welfare state we are borrowing $3 billion dollars a day, most of it from the Chinese”.
Ok, do the math. $3,000,000,000 x 365 days = $1,095,000,000,000,000. Or $1.095 Quadrillion!
Our entire Federal budget this year will be just shy of $3 trillion.
It is this sort of rabid insanity that routinely foams from Paul’s mouth that his acolytes simply tune out because he happens to demagogue their particular hot button issue.

“It’s a sad day when “conservative” Freerepublic people consider gun rights a “wacko” issue.”
It’s a sad day when people cannot read and comprehend a simple sentance. He was talking about RON PAUL being “wacko”. Did you miss that? Try again. I know it is a whole seven words, but do your best. Don’t let the tin foil hat slip and cover your eyes.

That must be why hes second in most polls and first in all the Southern states, huh? LOL
First in all the Southern States?
Exaggerate much?
Fred Thompson has done one thing since entering the race -- he has boosted Rudy Giuliani's position in most polls.
Congratulations, you all must be so proud.

What's astounding is that this Paul-hating troll made the same screwed up math argument on a thread yesterday, and several people pointed out that 365 x 3 billion is just over a trillion. I'm not kidding. I can understand saying something stupid once and being corrected. We all do that from time to time. But after being corrected several times and having people carefully point out why you are incorrect, going ahead and repeating the same incredibly stupid argument - that defies logic.
Here is the first stupid post from Johnnie - #56.
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1910634/posts?q=1&;page=51
The only reason I knew about it is that for some reason the troll addressed it to me. My policy is don't feed the trolls. And on Ron Paul threads - Johnnie, Allegra, Tron and a few others are incapable of rational discussion, so I don't bother engaging them.

Are you capable of reading? Fred Thompson DOES lead in just about every Southern poll taken so far, save for some in Florida. Look it up...

I recognize him, too, as a cut-and-run peacecreep, pseudo-John Bircher with a bag of crackpot ideas that would never fly, even if the loony lottery of life landed him somehow in the white house.
You know, you Fredheads have gotten just as bad as the Hunter supporters, with your superiority complex. Another reason why I stopped participating on the Fred threads.
To: elizabetty
And as a Romney supporter, you’re the last person to talk about which candidate is demented.
