Suddenly, after post #112, things have quieted down. Hmmmmm. True Believers out to get their 4 hour pick-me-up?

I think they would never be content just killing each other and they would be infiltrating our malls and schools as soon as they could put together a blood fund from oil profits

How. Paul supports border security and restricting legal immigration.

The only way to stem the tide, we all have to quit our jobs and start riding out to East BFE and vote in every straw pole we can find...

You Paulistas can’t make a cogent arguement so you call names like children.

The former is false, but the latter true. It's the only tactic the Bushbots seem to understand.

I mean, we can go on for days about the Jeffersonian vision for the republic, a return to federalism, and non-expansionist monetary policy, but y'all's eyes glaze over and all we get for our trouble is that execrable "RuPaul" monicker tossed at us.

So until you can comprehend the finer points of von Hayek vs. Keynes, well, "RuPaul" back atcha.

Full of babble perhaps, yet you don’t answer the initial charge that in fact Paul, his supporters, and his candidacy are a JOKE.

TripE, look at your family, your spouse, your children if you have any. Look at them really good. Remember meeting your spouse, remember your parents, aunts, uncles, friends. Remember and think about how much you love them.

Now tell me that is enough...

Vote for the man who will keep those Barbary Pirates at bay, RON PAUL 1816!

Yeah, everything's different since we invented the telephone.

[sigh]

Well in that case, where do I line up for my delousing and number tattoo? Bring on the tracking chip...it's okay, even necessary, since it's no longer 1816 and freedom is an anachronism.

It's for the good of the collective, you know.

The Tuscaloosa News is owned by the New York Times. I’d say they print a lot of fake stories.

They never do. They never will. They will never concede anything. They're True Believers and aren't programmed that way. It's not part of the binder material they've been given and spent 5 days on in a Motel 6 in Pocatello.

To respond to questions is something responsive people do; not robots.

Lord have mercy!!

Lucky for all of us, He does.

Still, why are we arguing? I don't see why a return to strict constitutional law, under a constructionist interpretation, should be all that controversial at FreeRepublic. The result would be something very like the Republican Party Platform.

Or is that just a carrot to be dangled in front of the noses of the rank and file, to keep them pounding the pavement?

Uh huh...

But you do make my point, everything is different now. The modern world demands different tactics and approaches. Leaving the world stage is not an option in 2007. Nor is Marque and Reprisal, etc... BTW that is a mighty leap you make there, do you even know what I believe in?

I found the book BTW, going to read the next couple of days out of curiosity...
