Who said anything about a nuclear attack on Iran? I'm sure we have conventional weapons that can do the job. By threatening to nuke Israel, Iran's leaders have made its nuclear weapons program a legitimate target for "assertive disarmament."

If you have to ask "Who said...", then you haven't been following the discussion. And if Israel feels threatened, then let Israel respond.

I went to get a pedicure last week and the woman in the chair next to me was wearing a "Ron Paul for President in 08" shirt. The nice technician (who speaks limited English) asked her about him, and the women LOST HER MIND. Seriously, going on and on about the war, etc. If I would have remembered that Ron Paul was the goof who blamed 9/11 on America in the first debate, I would have said something. But, I'm 9 months pregnant and was just trying to enjoy my pedi.

The poor tech, though - she made the mistake of saying: "I don't really follow politics," and crazy lady responded: "WELL, I guess you aren't affected by things like the economy or the WAR." Can we say rude? Yikes. Like I said, I was trying to enjoy myself and relax, so I kept my mouth shut. She was doing a good enough job of making Ron Paul (and herself) look like an idiot.

“Unshakable Leader”...Bush is a flippin’ commie!!! I’d take Paul over Bush any day of the week. Bush has no balls he hangs out with Kennedy and that other little commie rat McCain. The last three POTUS’s have been commie rats. Reagan was the last good POTUS!!!

Pardon me, I read the following in your post and believed that you wrote it:

” When you’re talking about a nation that is seeking to annihilate Israel with nuclear weapons, it would seem justifiable to me to use tactical nuclear weapons to eliminate Iran’s ability to destroy Israel. In other words - the injustice that could be suffered by Israel (complete destruction) far outweighs what Iran would suffer (destruction of nuclear weapons facilities). Interestingly, many Just War theorists omit this point because they acknowledge that “bellicose nations” can exploit this point.”

Whose words were those?

Go Ron Go!!!

Standing out from the crowd is pretty easy when you are the stupidest person in the group.

Go Ron Go, indeed. Just go away.

What is this all about? Would you like to try to explain that?

Making the case that we should leave Iran alone because they never harmed us is similar to making the case we should have stayed out of WWII because Germany never harmed us.

There must be a balance between isolationism and free markets which have antifreeze from China coming into our borders. It is a brave new world, but one which everyone must grow accustomed to.

You should read "Brave New World" sometime. It might actually open your eyes. And while you're at it, try reading "1984", it's about what we will become if we don't wise up.

And “nation building” (as much as I hate that phrase) is sometimes necessary in a post 9/11 world.

Why? Why do we have to do it? Why can't they do it themselves? We did.

Ron Paul has an outdated political view of the world. He has no chance of getting the nomination.

And the reason you think Ron Paul has an outdated view is, what? Could it be because the globalists have completely brainwashed most Americans, including you?

Truth and fidelity to the Constitution never becomes "outdated".

Go Home Ron, Go Home!

If Ron Paul tripled his ratings he still wouldn't break the margin of error.

Those were my words. What about those words makes you think that I’m arguing that we SHOULD use nuclear weapons to attack Iran? I’m saying that if it comes down to it and there’s a need for a nuclear attack, we’d be justified in using that option to prevent a nuclear attack against Israel or the US. I don’t WANT to attack anyone - I want us all to get along and sing kumbaya, but unlike Mr. Paul, I am grounded in reality and realize that the world is a very dangerous place.

Talking about Jesus?

It is complete insanity to compare Ron Paul to Jesus.

For one thing, when Jesus comes back on His white horse, I don’t think He’s going to feel limited by “Christian Just War” theory.

This guy is really running for the libertarian ticket. He has no chance as a republican. That’s why even liberals like Jon Stewart like the guy. They know he’s capable of siphoning conservative votes like Ross Perot did for Bill Clinton.

Contrary to the Paul supporter’s spin, Paul is not the only conservative in the race.

They must drink kool-aid every chance they get.

And they actually think spamming online polls will get their kooky leader into the White House.

And, why have we not declared War against Iran?

Dr Paul put a Declaration of War into the House, but, no One... not one Representative second his motion.

The benefit in Declaring War is the removal of post-debate. Victory will be the Law, not, as the Policy is now where the well is poisoned by politics of Congress babbling on about "what I know now I would not do then".

Execution of a War that is codified to have only the result of victory. Instead we have whimps happy to see the President fall on his own sword, to secure their political needs.

A Declaration of War would mean ANYONE against Victory would be an Enemy to the Constitution. Unfortunately, President Bush bit that proverbial apple to achieve an Authorization of Force that only required a 50/50 vote in the Senate. He should have asked for a Declaration of War so that there is NO QUESTION on victory. But, if you don't have the 66% in Votes there can be no War. This is the Constitution.

The track record of Undeclared and PreEmptive wars is disgusting and unending. It's time to put the 'C' back in Constitution.

Ron Paul submitted a War Declaration... again no one affirmed. He had seen the meat grinder of Vietnam as an MD and knows where unending Wars without Declared Victories lead.

We need the Courage of Ron Paul : )

If that is true, then wouldn't Ron Paul be the perfect candidate to oppose Hillary, "the smartest woman in the world"? It would give the voters a real choice.

declared the immorality of discussing PreEmptive Nuclear Attacks upon a Nation that has not harmed us, namely Iran.

Immoral to "discuss"?

Have they not harmed us repeatedly?

Have they not vowed to harm us and Israel over and over again?

Immoral to "discuss"???

To say it is "immoral" to discuss something, is that not discussing it?

".. making the case we should have stayed out of WWII because Germany never harmed us."

Where did you get that; "we should leave Iran alone"? Where does that come from?

I am having trouble following your line of thinking. Spit it out.

I'm sure Mr. Paul realizes that the world is a very dangerous place. And I wouldn't be surprised to learn that he believes that it takes more than singing "kumbaya" to keep the peace.
