Ron Paul [R-TX] Stands out from the Crowd
YouTube ^ | 20070606 | AnimusLiberti

Posted on 06/06/2007 3:51:56 AM PDT by animusliberti

Despite a limited format with CNN, last night, Rep Ron Paul MD [R-TX] continues to stand out from that crowd.

Particularly, the focus brought to a Christian "Just War" and how he alone declared the immorality of discussing PreEmptive Nuclear Attacks upon a Nation that has not harmed us, namely Iran. Also, his points that the Operation Enduring Freedom is serving a Policeman's role hits us with the impossibilities we have pitted our Brave Forces against.

We need the courage of a Ron Paul!!!!

Go Ron Go!!!

Go Ron Go!!!

Go Ron Go!!!

Ron Paul: Choice of MurryMom and other leftist surrender-monkeys everywhere.

Unfortunately for you guys (and fortunately for the other 99% of us), that doesn't translate into votes in a GOP primary.

There are no innocent people in Iran.

Huh? I'm willing to bet that there are more innocent people in Iran than there are brain cells functioning in your head. Sheesh.

My earlier post questioned the supposedly left-ward propensity of Ron Paul, and I asked for a "ferinstance".

Durus wrote: Yes. What to do about Iraq as a for instance.

What is "leftist" about placing the interest of America first?

And while you're at it, tell me what is our vital national interest in Iraq?

Next time think before you post.

Using your logic, then we have seen the end of wars - we simply blame individuals.

Regardless of what you say, Iran elected their leader and therefore they all hold a collective guilt.

Me too! The similarity between the way Jesus and his followers were received by the Jews, and the way that Ron Paul and his supporters are being treated by many “Republicans” is uncanny. Gives me the shivers.

If I would have remembered that Ron Paul was the goof who blamed 9/11 on America in the first debate, I would have said something.

You would not have remembered that because Paul did not blame 9/11 on America.

That idea came from Giulani's rude straw man attack.

That isn't a for instance rather it is a rephrasing of your original comment. Can you give me an instance IE:an example?

Truth and fidelity to the Constitution never becomes "outdated".

Great quotation.

That calls for a GRPPL Ping.

Please let me know if you would like to be added to the Great Ron Paul Ping List.

Nothing at all. However that isn't what Ron Paul plan is doing...in fact I think it is quite the opposite.

I can tell you why war was justified but I'm not sure you would accept those reasons as being "in our vital American interests". In fact I think we would have to agree on what that phrase means before it could be spoken to.

I like Ron Paul, but we need to keep our options open. Suppose Paul drops out of the race or does not win the GOP nomination? Suppose Paul decides to focus on his campaign for Congress (TX law allows him to campaign for both offices).

Now is the time to encourage conservative people like Ron Paul to run for office, even if Paul is your #1 preference.

Thanks for your thoughts!

Ugh! I cannot even begin to want to debate someone who would make such an outrageous comparison.

Ron Paul is a politician. Not the Second Coming. You guys need to cut back on the KoolAde. I've always thought Paulites were rather strange, but you take it to a new level with remarks like that.

I have my favorite candidates (there is not a cut-and-runner among them, so your leader disqualifies), but I do not worship any of them.

I've listened to the testimony of a great many experts on the region...and you've said basically the same things they are saying. It would be nice if things were simple...but they are not...and I pity the people who have to convey that message to the American people.

I'll definitely check out your book selections also. I'm due for another trip to the book store. :)

You would not have remembered that because Paul did not blame 9/11 on America.

REP. RON PAUL, R-TEXAS, GOP PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE: They attack us because we've been over there, we've been bombing Iraq for 10 years. We've been in the Middle East. I think Reagan was right. We don't understand the irrationality of Middle Eastern politics.

Oh, Ok. My bad.
