I agree, it's more than horrifying. It reminds me of the Roman circuses, where the audience would give a "thumbs up" or "thumbs down", giving life or death to the gladiators or whoever else they had in the arena. It is a very sick, sad day for America when the ghouls outnumber those with a human heart.
