Can you imagine what the Schindlers must be feeling when they see stuff like this?

Haven't read about the case. What are the basic details? Is the woman comatose? If so, what is the prognosis?

In the scope of everything that has surrounded the case of Terri Schindler Schiavo, it saddens me to see that those of us who are outraged at what is unfolding before our very eyes, we must resort to pumping up the numbers on an online poll for some Tampa Bay television station in order for us to feel like we are contributing to her well-being. This poll means nothing and has no real value (as blunt and uncaring as that may sound). Rather than feel good about ourselves afterward for deflating the number of "Yes" votes in favor of her feeding tube to be removed by our barage of "No" votes, couldn't something a bit more constructive be done? Such as organizing a march, protest, sit-in, writing campaign (which has been done), maybe even finding out where Michael Schiavo lives (posting his address/telephone number/email address/other personal info on the Free Republic site and possibly staging some sort of protest in front of his house). Granted, everyone who voted (myself included) has their hearts in the right place, but come on folks, this is just a poll. Get out there and DO something about this. If Terri is indeed removed from the feeding tube by order of the judge in this case (I dread the thought), and eventually succumbs to death by dehydration/malnutrition, EVERYTHING must be done in order to see that Michael Schiavo is brought before a court of law concerning the circumstances surrounding the intial cause of her condition (which is in all appearances a botched murder attempt on his behalf). I mean don't let this guy get one minute of rest. No more O.J. Simpson bullsh*t. No more Scott Peterson bullsh*t. No more Robert Blake bullsh*t. Nip this thing in the bud. Nail this guy and nail him good.
