As we enter the day which marks the second anniversary of the infamous and cowardly attack by certain muslim left wing extremists on our country, it is hard and foolish not to focus on warnings. The national so called major media is, even today, still trying to find a way to claim that we were warned, but ignored the warnings. And I would have to think that their claim, like much of their "news" is not only biased, but sorely lacking in credible proof and totally devoid of absolute facts.
But, today is a good day to look at some absolute facts, facts that are indisputable, facts dictated by God to Ezekiel. Facts that deal with a warning, a warning that went unheeded. A warning that even today is being ignored by literally everyone, a warning that includes in it a part that is not only ignored by the unsaved, but by the Saved as well, and for that reason alone we should thank the Living God, Christ Jesus for what He did on the cross. For if we had to live by this warning, none of us, since there is no purgatory, would see anything but utter and absolute destruction upon our entering eternity.
As we read the words dictated to Ezekiel by God the Father, keep an eye on the things you would need to do to live.
"Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.
But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right, and hath not eaten upon the mountains,
neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbor's wife, neither hath come near to a menstruous woman,
and hath not oppressed any, but hath restored to the debtor his pledge, hath spoiled none by violence, hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment;
he that hath not given forth upon usury, neither hath taken any increase, that hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, hath executed true judgment between man and man, hath walked in My statutes, and hath kept My judgments, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live," saith the Lord GOD. (Ezekiel 18:4-9)
But, because of what the Lord Jesus did on the cross 1,970 years ago, while we are not exempt from carrying out all things written in the law and the prophets that did not deal directly with the coming of the Messiah (see Matthew 5:17-20), we who are Saved, will not die because of them. Die meaning eternal damnation.
But, if we ignore the warnings issued regarding the radical left wing muslim extremists who hate us, we may find ourselves facing judgement sooner than anticipated. And since there is no purgatory, judgement means eternity with the Lord in paradise or eternity in the lake of fire with satan. Why take chances? Why ignore both the warnings of the left wing extremist militant Islamic fundamentalists who hate us and ignore the teachings of the Lord who loves us?
Jesus said:
"Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. ... I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. ... And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man (Jesus) be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son (Jesus), that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son (Jesus) into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believeth on Him (Jesus) is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
And this is the condemnation, that Light (Jesus) is come into the world, and men loved darkness (satan) rather than Light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the Light, neither cometh to the Light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
But he that doeth truth cometh to the Light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God." (Excerpts from John chapter three)
Don't be fooled and don't be foolish, heed the warnings. Heeding the warnings issued by those out to kill us is wise, heeding the warning issued by God is an absolute necessity unless, of course, you would like to spend all eternity in the lake of fire with those who hate you.
neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbor's wife, neither hath come near to a menstruous woman,
Thank God my wife is near sixty
