Hey! Don't make fun of those felt banners. They were the only adornment our bare auditorium worship space had. I have a whole collection of them, from every baptism, first communion, and confirmation.:>)

Actually, my mother made all the felt banners in our parish. The First Friday one had a Crown of Thorns that was sewn on. Talk about a lot of work. It's currently in Mom's closet.
