It is not some stodgy Vatican "policy" that has been "imposed," but a gift savored for millennia. I wholeheartedly support it, not because I'm "supposed to," or because I reluctantly "have to," but because I want to, and because I sincerely and enthusiastically believe it is a genuine gift to the church and her priests.

What a refreshing read. His joy in his vocation rings through, as well as his love for the church and his deep concern for his fellow priests. He appointment is blessing to a diocese that has been really hurting.

I just love him! Makes me want to go hug my priest and tell him how much I appreciate him(despite the liturgical abuses). He always makes me think during his homilies(when he gives them).
