The Constitution is NOT THE BASIS of our legal system

That's a new one. The basis of our legal system is our Consitution. Please take your own advice -- and get some education. As for your inability to think rationally, no education may help.

I will make no further replies to you than this one, and that is to clarify what I said, any intelligent person would have known that I meant the ORIGINAL BASIS of our laws (including the Constitution) were already set in mid-1600's. The First Amendments to Constitution of the United States were NOT ratified by Congress untill 1789, exceeding 100 years after the Colonies were populated and laws already in place.
It appears that you are ignorant to the core, and no further comment to you will be made, except to say that I feel sorry for you. So take your best shot, everyone on Free Republic can read and those who know our laws will see in you what I see. Have a great day, ignorance is bliss!
