I once drove a gal to the hospital where she had an abortion. I DID NOT support this decision, and the only reason I drove her was so that I could get in just one more half hour of begging -- BEGGING -- her not to do it. She didn't need me to drive her; she could have gotten a ride from numerous people. But I was the only one who was going to try and talk her out of it.
She didn't listen to me (she should have -- she's felt awful about it for 15 years now), but the way I saw it...I had to keep trying right up until the very last second.
I've often wondered if I did the right thing all those years ago...I think I did. I hope I did. I wish I could have stopped her.
You're right on all the other points regarding the procurement of abortions, though.

You were not complicit, obviously. Primary intention was to stop her, the secondary effect was her arriving at the location of the abortion. My post does not apply to you in the circumstances you outline.

Yeah, you did. It would have happened even if you hadn't driven her, and you persevered to the end.
