Theology and OCP? You think theology trumps copyright? What planet are you on?
Seriously, half the crap in OCP isn't even written by Catholics. I'm all for banning OCP in it's entirety.

"Moreover, some hymn texts in todays Catholic "worship
sources" are, to put it bluntly, heretical"....
George Weigel hits the nail on the head. I thought it was just me. Sing a New Church is another "hymn" to trash.
The music at Holy Mass is supposed to be sacred, but in many places it is just a toe tapping karoke hour.

Another example of OCP product See Us Lord, About Your Altar. (OCP Todays Missal Music Issue 2002 #322) This is a nice hymn from the Protestant Tradition. The third verse, however, reads:
Once were seen the blood and water: Now is seen but bread and wine; Once in human form he (sic) suffered, Now his (sic) form is but a sign.
Only a sign of His presence? This concept may be fine in the tradition whence it comes but it is not fine in ours. No wonder so many Catholics are confused about the Real Presence.
