Oh, that's sad. We have a deacon and one priest who ALWAYS sing it in Latin and then there are the stick in the muds who only sing in English. Phooey.

I'm partial to "Veni Creator Spiritus" for Pentecost, "Ave Verum Corpus" for Corpus Christi and many others for "special occations".

Every Sunday should be a special occation.
