***Since Calvinism falsely teaches that God forces the elect to believe, it is no wonder that Calvin thought he could also force the citizens of Geneva to all become the elect.***

This statement alone is sufficient to show that the author is uninterested in truth.

Do you agree with this statement, Cv?

Explain.

Did not Calvin teach that God through his irresistible grace forces the elect to believe?

Did not Calvin advocate and practice forced Church membership and attendance in order to ensure that all of the citizens of Geneva were "elect"?

What is it about the statement that indicates that the author is not interested in the truth?

I don't know if true or false, but suspect the author is guilty of a hasty generalization , hence a fallacious argument.

I suspect that there is a convoluted path whereby a "Calvinist" will study rightly doctrines on foreknowledge, sovereignty, omnipotence, and election, but then slip into placing their perspective ahead of His, then consequently believe all events have been mandated by Him to the point that no volition is of worth or slip into believing that their belief is His by His authority and therefore not accountable to any other.

In this manner, the fallen Calvinist is very similar to any sinner who places themselves above God.

On the contrary, I suspect there are other "Calvinist" positions which mature righteously in Scripture and experience towards learning more about the Holy Spirit and Grace and find themselves later becoming more tolerant of Arminians,.....and perhaps more accurately, there fellow Christian brethren with other gifts and who have been matured in Christ through Him, but along different walks.
