At first glance, I have no problem with your illustration/parable. To me, it even seems to acknowledge a degree of free will. Not sure how one could assume the premise behind this 'parable' and also argue in favor of total depravity and unconditional election (i.e. predestination as it relates to all persons and events).
Seems to me that any of the seven could have tested the ticket purchaser by going to the airport to see if it was real.
