Steve, I would like to read your comments on the original article and the historical references posted by P-Marlowe. I realized you were on vacation last week and thought it only fair to wait until you returned before raising this issue with you.
As the leading Calvinism apologist on these threads, your silence is deafening. As P-Marlowe would likely agree, a refusal to answer a question in a civil trial almost requires the jury to presume that the truth is damaging to the opposing party. It could be so damaging that in some cases the judge would properly rule in favor of a motion for a directed verdict and take the case out of the hands of the jury.
As far as you know, is the information provided by the article and P-Marlowe historically accurate in the essentials? Was Calvin responsible for the execution of Servetus?
