I have no doubt. The point is that the Catholic Church has, even while "losing money", kept open many Parishes while those Protestant Churches only supported by single congregations (I am trying to be charitable) could not stay and did not.

Protestant churches support many mission congregations that could not keep their doors open otherwise. Our missions budget is several hundred thousand dollars per year. Plus oyur people give much more directly to the same missionaries.

My church in Dallas was heavily involved with a west Dallas projects church. We aided financially, tutoring and many other ways.

Fact is that single men can endure what a family cannot. That is one reason why the Marines seldom send families overseas.
