By illicit I mean songs such as: "See Us Lord, About Your Altar."(OCP Today’s Missal Music Issue) A nice hymn from the Protestant Tradition. The third verse, however, reads:
“Once were seen the blood and water: Now is seen but bread and wine; Once in human form he (sic) suffered, Now his (sic) form is but a sign.”

This does'nt exactly support Catholic belief in the Real Presence; but then again, I am not sure Charles Wesley believed in the Real Presence.

In fact, it explicitly and specifically denies the Real Presence. It's outright heretical. It should be banned from use in Catholic worship. lex orandi, lex credendi.

Ya, that is illicit. And I've heard it before at my parish.

Sometimes I just want to ask my priest and other Catholics that I know, whether they believe that Jesus Christ left us only one Church, and if they do believe it, which one is it?

I'm having fits that my daughter has been assigned "Josua" by Fr. Girzone for summer reading for her religion class in Catholic HS. I found out that her freshman religion teacher is a member of Voice of the Faithful, so I don't know why I was surprised when I read "Josua." Fits right in with the "hierarchy is bad, organized religion is bad, community service is more important than knowing why you are a Catholic."
