1 Corinthians 1:10
I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of
you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you
and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought.

MarMema,

Ok no one is going to like this idea but.....how about every time we post here on the religion
forum, we first put a quote from Holy Scripture about how Christ wants us to treat others?

If anyone is lacking an appropriate verse, here are a few for a start:
_________________________________________________________________
ASSORTED

John 5:44
How can you believe if you accept praise from one another, yet make no
effort to obtain the praise that comes from the only God?

[For backslappers?]

Acts 2:12
Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, "What does this mean?"
[For when we don't understand]

1 Corinthians 1:10
I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of
you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you
and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought.

[A plea for unity?]

Romans 15:14
I myself am convinced, my brothers, that you yourselves are full of
goodness, complete in knowledge and competent to instruct one another.

[Verbal irony?]

LOVE ONE ANOTHER

John 13:34
"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you
must love one another.

John 13:35
By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one
another."

Romans 13:8
Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one
another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law.

1 Peter 1:22
Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you
have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the
heart.

1 Peter 3:8
Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love
as brothers, be compassionate and humble.

1 John 3:11
This is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one
another.

1 John 3:23
And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ,
and to love one another as he commanded us.

1 John 4:7
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone
who loves has been born of God and knows God.

1 John 4:11
Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

1 John 4:12
No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and
his love is made complete in us.

2 John 1:5
And now, dear lady, I am not writing you a new command but one we have
had from the beginning. I ask that we love one another.

have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the
heart.

Yes, thank you, just like that. That was truly lovely.
How sweet it would be to read Scripture before a response, I think. I hope your many examples are put to good use!
