As usual, you miss the point. We have no way of knowing that Scripture is what it purports to be except by the testimony of the Church. That's the fatal flaw in Sola thinking. Everyone has to rely on men.

Yes, ... but, as regards the scriptures, the church did the right thing and placed its faith in the men at the beginning of the telephone line ... those who actually physically heard the words of JESUS ... those, to whom JESUS promised ...John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.To rely upon sola scriptura is, thus, to put one's full trust only in these few men, who JESUS Himself screened and tutored and who the Holy Spirit taught and inspired to write.
