As I'm sure some folks will be interested in his background, Fr. Ron Tacelli's curiculum vitae is posted at the Boston College website here: http://fmwww.bc.edu/pl/fac/tacelli.cv.html.
He's an *orthodox* young Jesuit, a friend, and very keen on Catholic apologetics. In his spare time he's a professor of philosophy at Boston College.

You are really diving into it. I am going to enjoy the next week or so. Loved the Frances de Sales article by the way, truly inspiring. My initial reaction was the standard one your article addresses. Thanks a lot. God Bless

Very inciteful, excellent response to a Protestant argument and good use of both scripture and literary examples to disprove their contention. Must admit I am a little shocked to see that the author is a Jesuit. I attended a Jesuit High School and know many excellent Jesuits, the overall theology of the Jesuits today is at times suspect (possible understatement). God Bless

Welcome to the land of closed minds and hot tempers - you are very brave to come here without the cloak of anonymity! (You will have to always be on good behaviour!)

"He's an *orthodox* young Jesuit"

What a refreshing novelty!!! Even the salvation of the SJ's is still within God's abilities!
