The prayer three times a day now is supposed to be the Angelus and its conjoined prayers, followed by meal time grace with the Our Father. The tradition I learned was the Angelus, and three Glorias, said morning, noon, and evening. Then grace, with the Our Father coming before the prayer "Bless us O Lord ..." and after the prayer "We give thee thanks ..." at the end.

Why was this changed? If one is faithful to the tradition, the Our Father would still formally be said 3 times. I actually try to say the Angelus three times a day myself. It's part of my ongoing process of better incorporating prayer into my life.
