Actually, the local bishop of Medjugorje did, in fact,
condem the apparitions. There are way too many false teachings in these so called "apparations." There have been too many discrepancies in the "seers" so called "visions."
If you read about any of the approved visionaries, they have all been approved by the local bishop. Also, and very important, I might add, the approved visionaries of the past are very holy and not "worldly" whereas the Medjugorje "seers" are very much into the fame and fortune of it all.
Go and read about it.

Well, I was being moderate in my commentary (once a week, whether I need it or not, moderation is a good thing.)
I know Mike Jones and his work on Medju....it's been a nice financial pie for the Franciscans and the "seers," who have followed up with all sorts of, ah, Clintonesque improprieties as well.
