We know there is a portion (at least) of one psalm that was written by a woman (the mother of a king). I don't have the specific citation just this moment, but I can get it for later.

I think I know what you are talking about. I recently read that part of Proverbs was written by Bathsheba to Solomon.

She was feisty when chicks weren't supposed to be feisty. I like her;-) Plus she's my namesake.

As far as women are concerned, Jael may have had the good fortune of hammering the tent stake, but Deborah got the canticle ;-)
