I have noticed the same thing. In the end, this is why I got out after Bishop Fellay was elected Superior General. I remember the Archbishop saying, and the SSPX hierarchy always reassuring us, that one of the main proofs that the SSPX were not schismatic is that the bishops were not permitted to hold any of the superior offices within the SSPX, etc... This was drilled into our heads. When the SSPX reversed itself on this key point after the Archbishop's death, I knew where this was going.
