Thank you our Church has been under a coordinated assault by the forces of evil since the 1960's. The homosexuals particularly are after our Church. May all true Churches pray for their success against the forces of Darkness.
I've done my time in the trenches. There are many Catholics who have done likewise, at great personal and spiritual costs to themselves and their families, but you will never hear about it or know about it in this life.
You really are in their cross hairs.
Honestly, the Roman Catholic Church has bigger problems that any posed by non-Catholic FReepers if it has priests engaging like this.

Thanks metmom. I’m just asking that you remember just how traumatized rank and file Catholics have been by this homosexual infiltration of our priesthood. When you make blanket statements about Catholic FReepers regarding this crisis, you may well be breaking the bruised reed (Matthew 12:20).
When all you hear is excuses, it doesn’t come across as being traumatizing to people.
Too often the first reactions is *Yeah, but....* and there should be no *but*’s.
A simple acknowledgment of the fact that it’s real and it a black mark on the church’s reputation would go a long way to defusing any attacks on the church.
Yes, and in this respect I’m not always in agreement with some of my fellow Catholics.
