You would think that after twenty-five years he would see that subsidiarity isn't working, that millions of people are losing the faith because of it. But in truth, I don't buy this argument. After all, he keeps appointing these bad prelates--they are his doing. How many decades does it take for a pope to figure out he needs to take more care to appoint men who are devout and learned and free of sexual hang-ups?

That his judgement and yours are not identical is a tragedy to be sure. It is a sad thing that he is not privvy to your opinions, and it is a sad thing that he is unable to share in your wisdom. I'm sure that his holiness is deficient as well. Oh well. Maybe you could get a stick.
