I can say I agree with Paul, on the 3rd day, which would have been th end of the Sabbath on Saturday, Jesus arose fromthe dead.

You seem to be confused on the idea of the tomb being found on Sunday and thinking that was the 3rd day.

Read the Bible again. On Sunday before sunrise, the tomb was empty. ALREADY empty. That means that Sunday was NOT the 3rd day.

I know you are a more knowledgable biblical scholar than I am one. But... (always a but!) Doesn't the bible say that Jesus Christ rose on the first day of the week - which would be Sunday. Why couldn't the Resurrection have happened after midnight and before sunrise on Sunday? And "on the third day" would preclude 3 nights in the grave as any time after the third night in the grave would make it the forth day.

I might not be back for awhile as I am preparing Easter dinner for quite a few people.
