I respectfully have to disagree with you. It is a religious thread. If it were under general interest there would be the usual "this needs to be in the religious forum" crowd complaining.

12 posts about doctrine or scripture and 100 posts about vacations, basketball, motorcycles and tons of gifs.. It is not a religion thread cindy clearly half the posts are tripe

If it's not your cup of tea, there are points of egress available.

I prefer to think of it as the "de-compartmentalization" of our respective faiths. We share and speak as friends, despite our differences. Should religious people only talk about religion?

It is not a religion thread, cindy; clearly half the posts are tripe.

In that case...I have never seen a religion thread!

Nope. I have to disagree with you again. There is nothing unholy about discussing sports or vacations. Why do you want to drive a stake thru the heart? If it's not for you, ignore it. Here people of different faiths discuss religion, while still respecting the poster. You will also see them apologize when the line is crossed. I think the difference is, that we take the time to get to know each other. I only see problems when visitors drop by with an agenda. They usually don't stay long though because to participate , you will need to be willing to read your bible, discuss scripture, and be prepared to test your beliefs. We do work hard but sometimes you just need to stop for a milk and cookie break. ;').
