OBSERVATIONS:
[1] There seems to be a significantly reduced number of Protestant Threads (KJV Only being the exception for sure) in the FR Religion Forum.
[2] There seems to be a reduced number of FR Protestant posts in the Religion Forum.
This thread is a place to discuss these observations.

Apparently you think repeated mocking of the pope's medical problems furthers your cause.

Actually, I think P-M was a fifth generation Mormon prior to his conversion.

"Ha ha ha - Rome bears quite a bit of "fruit" lately, dontcha think?"
(I thought I would post this "clever" comment before someone else did - its quite the rage on any thread that mentions Catholics).

Apparently you think repeated mocking of the pope's medical problems furthers your cause. Show me where I have "mocked" the Pope's medical condition. You stated that people say that he drools and I noted that it was a fact that he did. Why do you insist on bringing this up again and again? Are you trying to bait me?
Heck I drool, you drool, we all drool. Some more than others.

I am now quite finished stooping to your level. It is quite discomforting - I don't know how you do it so calmly.

Nope, but you are free to think so.

I've tried to read each and every post (if I've missed a key one, please let me know) and from what I've seen only Protestants and Catholics seem willing to post and discuss (or 'argue' if you please) what their beliefs are. Were it not for the Protestants and Catholics posting what the points of faith for the other religions are, we'd have no background on them. I find this behavior particularly unusual. The Mormons, for example, express that everything posted about Mormonism is "lies", but fail to divulge what the truth is. This is very strange to me.

of course I point this out not as an insult Of course, you point it out because you have personal knowledge of this fact. BTW do the people at Forest Lawn know what you're up to?

What do you want to bet that if I searched your recent posts, that you have probably personally used those terms to describe Sen Robert Byrd? Can't we all be in agreement that Robert Byrd is a "drooling moron?"
To: P-Marlowe; Notwithstanding
"Notwithstanding" does not seem to know the differences between fact, opinion, and outright fantasy. I fail to see how stating opinion or (most likely in this case) outright fantasy as factual information is "stooping to your level". I see no evidence of you doing this yourself in your post history. I hope Notwithstanding does not take the same approach to theology.

I have to say that, though I have no doubt "a call" came, I am absolutely certain it was from a different area code than you have in mind. Yes, unlike yours, my call didn't come from the "666" area code.

Do you think Notwithstanding pushed the abuse button on himself in post 1027? I sure didn't. I wanted it there for posterity.
Bummer.

Dave ... when you get here in the morning, be sure to check out post 1034, if it's still there.
Of course, that's assuming that this thread is still here.
So far ... so good.
