The deeper problem transcends even the Mass itself: Rome, by pushing modernism, is forcing traditionalists to deny their own Catholicism. The Pope is in the vanguard of this push to destroy the legacy of two thousand years, to reject the old faith and to institute a new religion which approximates Protestantism. The New Mass glorifies this by subverting the ancient dogmas and defying all preconciliar popes and even the Council of Trent itself.
