How does a mac hear? I tried last year and it never worked for me

It looks like the church's site requires microsoft's media player. There is a version of that for the mac. If you surf much, I suspect that you already have it installed, but if not, there is a link to get it on the page.

Thanks for considering listening. President Hinckley will likely speak during the morning session on Sunday. If he conducts the session, he will likely speak for the last half-hour. If somebody else conducts, he could speak first.

Since we consider President Hinckley to be a prophet, we would consider what he says to be those things that the Lord wants us to know at this time. This is a good way to get a quick look into our culture.

If he says something IS IT AS GOOD AS SCRIPTURE? Can we be assured that what he says is the "gospel" truth. And if it is the gospel truth, can we be assured that in 100 years it will still be the gospel truth?

Or does truth change with the seasons?

I watched conference it was very interesting. The Prophets talk on Sunday was very, very interesting especially when he said that we are living in the time of the dragon stated in revelations. (not his quote, I don't have how he stated it exactly.)

Revelations 13:
1-And I stood upon the sand of the sea and saw a beast riseup out of the sea having seven heads and ten horns and upon his horns ten crowns and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 2-And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion and the dragon gave him his power and his seat, and great authority. 3-And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death and his deadly wound was healed and the world wondered after the beast.

This is what I understand of the above:
the dragon being satan.
7 heads-7groups of people or nations.
10 horns-souces of stregnths/body of lands.
10 crowns-people or leaders. dragon shows them as important to him.
Like unto a leopard-Asia likeunto/with a lions stance. showing his whole side-his power also meaning of importance in the way he stands.
Lions mouth-extreme fierceness and unrestrained violence, brutality.
feet of a bear-shows to support a weight or strain. showing not having assistence or interferance.
rised out of the sea-babylon was once under water and now is sand.
babylon is known as baghdad.

babylon will be wounded to death but his deadly wound will heal and all the world wondered about babylon.

Isaiah talks about this as well. Isaiah 21 mentions the fall of babylon and other nations destroyed. there is mention of seven of them. Dumah, Arabia, Dedanim (dedan), Tema, Kedar, Beshan, Seir. It talks of the trappings of the persian army.

Then back on Revelations 13:
11-And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth and he had two horns like a lamb and he spake as a dragon. 12-and he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and casuseth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13- And he doeth great wonders so that he maketh fire come down from the heaven on the earth in the sight of men.

(He will exercise all power of the first beast whos deadly wound was healed he doeth great wonders so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the sight of men he will decieveth them that dwell on the earth by means of mircles. He will do means of miracles.)

This is what I understand of this:
The (second)beast like a lamb and spake as a dragon(satan)= antichrist
2 horns-source of stregnth/ body of land
Lamb-gentle/weak person, to bring forth benevolent and fraternal (society) order, friendly, brotherly

This beast will come in to help all the nations in need. He will perform great miracles but they will be decieving. Only God fearing men will see the deception.

He is to be feared the most. I think in this he will make it look as if we are wrong in trying to free the people. We have seen the protesters, the un work against us. The media trying very hard to make us believe what is not true. He has been already at work on this and has followers already. This is why we already see the deception and is talked about frequently on the freepers threads. It will turn the tables on us and make us look like the troops and supporters be the bad people in all of this. Even though we fight for the right he will try to make us look as though it was very wrong making our ownselves judge and question our doings. KNow this we are doing right and this should be done and should take place and when he tries to deceive us remember we are God's children and stay on the right side of the fence do not side with this beast that comes in like a lamb. Fight for the truth and share with all so we will not be deceived many will and apostatize because of the second beast.
