I don't claim to know exactly what that means but that's what the Scofield commentary has to say about the three ribs.

I use The Companion Bible and v5 "it raised up itself: or, was made to stand. on one side: i.e. partially. three ribs, & This is not interpreted by the angel. The interpretations given by man are diverse, conflicting, and are unnecessary.

This sounds like modern day Russia the bear nation. Who the three ribs are not sure of.
