It isn't pretty when you see how hard the devil will fight when confronted.

No, it isn't pretty. Rather, the "banality of evil" is what it is: Not pretty, not flashy, just ever-thirsting for the blood of the Saints.

You and your kind are constrained ONLY by law. In those places and in those eras where the law turns a blind eye--such as in frontier America in the 1830s--or actively abets it--Spain just after the Moorish occupation--you and your kind actively and enthusiastically feed the flames with the bodies of those unfortunate enough not to be able to stomach your wicked orthodoxy.

I know you. Very well. Good people everywhere know you, and we can tell you by your stench.
