VATICAN CITY (Reuters) -- Harry Potter fans, relax. The Vatican says the kid is all right.
The question of whether J.K. Rowling's books and the films on the boy wizard have a positive influence came up at a news conference Monday where the Vatican presented a document on "New Age" spirituality, which contain elements of the occult.

I demanded nothing. I simply asked a question.
REPEAT AFTER ME: CORRELATION DOES NOT EQUAL CAUSATION!
You are using this case as proof that RPGs drive people to the occult, yet you provide no proof of that. This person came from a very messed up background that had a lot more to do with what he did than any RPG which you would notice if you researched this case.
Millions of people play RPGs yet do not turn to the occult. Just because a few insane people do, does not prove anything.

Given a general lack of omniscience on my part, it's all I've got to work with. I suppose I could just find someone who claimed omniscience, and be their follower, or defer my own reason to Intellectual Giants, but that would be disobedient to Word of God. It should not be surprising that you see this in black and white as well. One is either a blithering ignoramous or one is omniscient.
The idea of being reasonably well-informed is just too "mushy middle" for you, huh?

The person who called me ignorant, hasn't a clue of what I do or don't know about scripture, history, or Church Doctrine. He has been a ranting disrupter, hurling names and ridcule rather than giving any reasoned arguments, by his own admission.
My response was meant to show the meaninglessness of his label.

Some people are so beyond help that it is fruitless to try to engage them.

In that case you must consider participating in FR to be a waste of time since you have no need to become more informed. What facts are you dealing with? My reading and knowledge of the books is factual, someone else's opinion about them isn't. But it all seems the same to you. BTW, the latest HP book is darker because the evil forces he's up against are stronger. But he too becomes stronger and wins. Good vs evil. But what do I know? I'm not enlightened like you are...
