I don't know anything else about Ferrara, but I am convinced that for many people traditional Catholicism is a symptom of an underlying mental disorder.

Traditional Catholicism, coupled with hatred of the Pope and the Novus Ordo, is a mental disorder.

It's called I-just-can't-leave-you-alone-itis.

For the most part, it's the Novus Ordo-only types, who can't leave the Tridentine Rite alone.

I can't speak for Ferrara but for myself and many others we'd like to see one thing only with regard to the Tridentine Rite. Make it available. Quit suppressing it. That's all. Exactly as the Pope requested when he wrote about a "wide and generous application" of Ecclesia Dei."

Let those who wish to, attend the Novus Ordo. But let those who are attached to the Tridentine Rite have access to it. A kind of a "free market" approach to the issue.

There is a demand for the ancient rite. I say quit obstructing those who wish to supply that demand.
