Somehow, you are confusing the practices of some that do not represent me with the consistent teachings of the early Church concerning Mary with which I agree.
My daughter in law "presented " flowers to Mary when she was married..
I would suggest that you should take some relief in the fact that your daughter-in-law considers her marriage to be a holy union. I sincerely doubt you will ever have to deal with the heartache of her introducing infidelity into your son's life.
..and you deny that the rosery is asking intercession from Mary when you could ask it from Jesus?
