God does work thru channels, no doubt, but Dave the thing about purgatory it benefits no one but the person taking part in the work. The HS working thru us is to help bring OTHERS to Christ. When a "work" is done that benefits no one but the person involved it is a work. Definition of work: Deeds leading to planned results.

I don't think I understand what you are saying. How does "purgatory" benefit no one but the person "taking part" in the "work." This is not clear. What do you mean?
