You do not think that the dead want and need to be loved and to love in return? When my father-in-law died recently, we were relieved, almost joyful that he was out of the body that was causing him such pain. But that was because we hope to see him again healed in body and soul. Meanwhile we maintain the link through prayer and try to keep the faith.

Don't you think the love of God is sufficent?

Do you believe your father in law is in heaven? Wouldn't that be a wonder to stand at the throne of God ? Do you think he is even thinking about you?

Paul set charity above faith. Why should death end the love that man and wife, parents and children, brothers and sisters, and friends have for one another? He asked us to love even our enemies. But you say they don't care for any of us?
